Sui Dhaaga - Made in India is a Hindi movie starring Anushka Sharma, Varun Dhawan in prominent roles. It is a drama directed by Sharat Katariya, with Maneesh Sharma as the producer, forming part of the crew .

“I was surprised how quickly Anushka picked up the craft of embroidery. When I saw stuff she has embroided, I thought someone has helped her. Later I found out that her preparation is not just limited to the workshop space, she is taking material home to get better at the craft. The finishing touches is the thing that gives away that you are not trained at the craft but she realised that much before I could bring it up. It feels great to see actors taking interest in things beyond what the film requires”, says director Sharat Katariya.

Inspired by the life of Coimbatore-based Arunachalam Muruganantham, who found a way to make affordable sanitary napkins for women in his village, 'PadMan' is set to release during the Republic Day weekend on 7 February , 2018. The film has been written and directed by R. Balki.


Pad Man is an upcoming 2018 Indian biographical comedy-drama film  featuring Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in lead roles and cameo appearance by Amitabh Bachchan, which is inspired from the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham, a social activist from Tamil Nadu.

 

 From Where Did It Started :

Pad Man was envisioned to an be awareness film without focusing too much at the commercial aspect. The producers' main agenda was to reach out to a wide audience to create awareness and eradicate the superstitions surrounding sanitary pads that's prevalent and practiced in India till today. As with Kumar's previous film, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, they hoped to educate the masses, both women and men, about menstrual hygiene and to stop labelling it as stigma or taboo in the society. Furthermore, it was plea towards politicians to drive their attention towards sanitary pads and making it mandatory across institutions.
The idea to adapt Murugan's life began in 2015 when Twinkle Khanna came across his story while doing a research for a column in The Times of India. Inspired and moved by his persistence and determination, she wrote about him in her book, The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad (2016). Later, she felt the need to adapt his life to the big screen as she believed it would reach out to more audiences by adapting it into a full-length feature film as "our world is filled with viewers, not readers."^Twinkle Khanna, who also serves as a producer on the film, said she was drawn to the project due to its relevant yet underrated subject about menstruation and Muruganantham's determination.
R. Balki was Twinkle Khanna's first choice to direct the film. She had previously seen R. Balki's work and appreciated how sensitive he is when it comes to film-making.

Casting

Akshay Kumar plays Arunachalam Muruganantham, also known as "India's Menstrual Man".  Kumar was not the first choice to play the role. Khanna thought of a few actors but she eventually handed it to Akshay Kumar after Murugan's insistence and because she thought it would be a game-changing event if  Akshay Kumar, who the Indian public idolises and men look up to, wore sanitary pad .

कैसे मनाते हैं लोहड़ी?

पारंपरिक तौर पर लोहड़ी फसल की बुआई और उसकी कटाई से जुड़ा एक विशेष त्यौहार है। इस दिन अलाव जलाकर उसके इर्दगिर्द डांस किया जाता है। लड़के भांगड़ा करते हैं , लड़कियां और महिलाएं गिद्धा करती है।   इस दिन विवाहिता पुत्रियों को मां के घर से 'त्योहार' (वस्त्र, मिठाई, रेवड़ी, फलादि) भेजा जाता है।   वहीं, जिन परिवारों में लड़के का विवाह होता है या जिन्हें पुत्र प्राप्ति होती है।  उनसे पैसे लेकर मुहल्ले या गांव भर में बच्चे ही रेवड़ी बांटतेहै।

 लोहड़ी का शुभ मुहुर्त शाम 05:57 से 07:37 और 09:16 से 10:56 तक आप आग जलाकर पूजा कर सकते है।  

लोहड़ी और दुल्ला भट्टी की कहानी।  

  एक कहानी के अनुसार कहा जाता है कि पंजाब में दुल्ला भट्टी नाम का एक शख्स था, जो गरीब लोगों की मदद करता था। उसने मुश्किल समय में सुंदरी और मुंदरी दो अनाथ बहनों की मदद की जिनको उसके चाचा ने जमीदारों को सौप दिया था। दुल्ला ने उन्हें जमीदारों के चंगुल से छुड़ाकर लोहड़ी की इसी रात आग जलाकर उनकी शादी करवा दी और एक सेर शक्कर उनकी झोली में डालकर विदाई की। माना जाता है कि इसी घटना के कारण लोग लोहड़ी का त्योहार मनाते हैं। दुल्ला भट्टी को आज भी प्रसिद्ध लोक गीत 'सुंदर-मुंदिरए' गाकर याद किया जाता है।

1921 is the fourth film of 1920 film franchise. The film will star Zarine Khan and Karan Kundra in lead roles.The film is been written and directed by Vikram Bhatt . The bar of horror movies in Indian Cinemas is quite low therefore 1921  will be a treat for those who have watched the three parts before . There are a lot of many scary scenes in the movie but these scenes will not only make you scare but will give you laughter .  . 

The first franchise was released in the year 2008 and it's good to see that even after a decade the film maintains its charm . 

Zareen Khan, the female lead of this film, was last seen in Aksar 2.

  Karan Kundrra, on the other hand, was last seen in 2017’s Mubarakan that was directed by Anees Bazmee.

 According to film distributor Akshaye Rathi, the film 1921 will be the highest grosser of the week. The film is targeting the single screen audience and will probably rake in Rs 3-4 crores on the first day.

Too many songs in the film is a major drawback . Even missing any song is not a big deal . 

The first half of the film is quite interesting and would make your interest for the film but the second half destroys the mood .

Story :

 The year is 1927. While the audience is awaiting for a grand performance by a celebrated pianist Ayush Asthana (Karan Kundrra), the man in question has locked himself in a room, got drunk and attempted suicide by slashing off his wrists. Time to tip-toe backwards to the year 1921.

Freshly off the shores of Bombay, Ayush arrives in England as a caretaker of a large mansion and to master his craft at York Music School. Things are smooth sailing for the young man and three months pass by. Until one night, while going over his notations, he fiinds a door of his Victorian mansion mysteriously cranking open while a spirit skirts the air in the moon-lit lawn. Before he can get a grip of the situation, a dark ghost with mini-bulb eyesvcompletely startles him. The next morning, he discovers a black colored patch near his abdomen.

Terrified by the paranormal occurrences, Ayush seeks help of a law-student-cum-ghost-whisperer Rose (Zareen Khan) who has the gift of communicating with ghosts and spirits who have unfinished businesses on Earth. Soon, love knocks their door but the evil spirit troubling Ayush is hell-bent on seeking revenge from them for a dark secret.
